Resolution 02148RESOLUTION NO. 2148 APPROVING REROUTING OF BUSSES AND haTaNSION OF SERVICE IN ALAMEDA. BY EAST BAY TRANSIT COMPANY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Council hereby approves the following rerouting of the present San Jose Bus Line, operated by the East Bay Transit Company in the City of Alameda, and the extension of service by said company, so as to best serve the needs of the majority of residents in the affected area in Alameda, to-wit: Starting at Hopkins Street and Twenty-third Avenue in Oakland; thence down Twenty-third Avenue to Park Street in Alameda; thence down Park Street to San Jose Avenue; thence down San Jose Avenue to Morton Street; thence down Morton Street to San Antonio Avenue; thence down San Antonio Avenue to Ninth Street; thence down Ninth Street to Santa Clare Avenue; thence down Santa Clara Avenue to Webster Street; thence down Webster Street to Lincoln Avenue; thence down Lincoln Avenue to Third Street; thence down Third Street to Santa Clara Avenue; thence down Santa Clara Avenue tc Ninth Street; thence down Ninth Street to San Antonio Avenue and back over the same route. RESOLVED FURTHER that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Railroad Commission of the State of California. I, the undersigned, hereby and regularly introduced and adopted meeting assembled on the 16th day of AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, (5). oertify that the foregoing Resolution was duly by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular March, 1957, by the following vote, to wit: Maurer, Morris, Weichhart and President Eschen, NOES None.
