CABLING FOR BIDS FOR LEGAL ADVERTISING.
17,SOLVED w THE COUNCIL OF TIE CITY DE MI,SEDA that the Council call for
bids for newspaper advertising of ordinances, legal notices and. such other matters as
the Chuncil and other officers of the City ere required by law to publish, for and dur-
ing the fiscal year ending!. June 30, 1938.
RESOLVED DURTNER that the City Clark 15 hereby' insruc U to publish forthwith
a notice inviting sealed bids for ouch advertising, such bids to be received up to the
hour of eight o'clock P.M. on Tuesday, Juno 29, 1937.
Each bidder must specify the price per square of 234 ems nonpareil measurement,
for the first cr one insertion of an advertisement and for each subsequent insertion
thereof, in a newspaper of general circulation ..published in the City of Alameda for a
period of not less than one yea: preceding the making of such bid, .and having a bona
fide paid circulation of at lease one thousand copies.
The responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid shall be awarded
a contract for such. publication for said fiScal year. The Council reserves t right
to reject any and all hide.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 15th day. of June, 1937, by the following vete, to it
