ESTABLISHING A SPECIAL FUND OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA TO BE KN07N AS THE IN LIEU TAX FUND
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that there be and is hereby
created and established a special fund of the City of Alameda, wh ch fund shall be known
ae the "In Lieu Tex Fund".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all moneys received by the City of Alameda
from the State of California pursuant to the provisions of that certain not of the
Legislature of the State of California entitled "An act relating to licensing and Taxing
of vehicles, providing for license fees for the privilege of operating certain vehicles,
providing for the exemption of such vehicles from all taxes according to value for State,
county or municipal purposes, providing for the administration and enforcement of this
act, creating a fund to be known as the motor venicle license fee fund, and making an
appropriation of the moneys tnerein," approved June 2n, 193b, and amendments thereto,
snail be deposited in the city treasury to the credit or said in Lieu Tax Fund, and that
the moneys in said fund shall be expended, when duly appropriated, only for the purposes
authorized in said art.
The Auditor and Treasurer of the City are hereby authorized and directed
to set up and maintain in their respective offices such accounting records as will at
all times show the receipts, disbursements and unexpended balances in said fund.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of tne City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 20th day of July, 193?, by the following vote, to wit:
