AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF GASOLINE IN
THE OPEN MARKET
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the said Council hereby
finds and determines that in its opinion first grade standard gasoline end ethyl gasciine
can be purchased by the City of Alameda at a lower price in the open market than by pur-
chasing same on contract let after call for sealed bids.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to pur-
chase all first grade standard gasoline and ethyl gasoline needed for use of the City
during the fiscal year ending June 3C, 1938, from time to time es needed, in the open
market end without contract or call for bids.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meet-
ing assembled on the 5th day of October, 1937, by the following vote, tc wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, .(4).
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilman Godfrey, (1).
