RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CHANGE ZONE ON COUNCIL'S
066 INITIhTIVE.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that it is the intention
of said Council, on its own motion and without a petition therefor, to initiate
proceedings for changing and reclassifying the property described as follows:
All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and
being in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the eastern line of Pearl Street distant
thereon southerly ninety-six feet from the intersection thereof
with the extension westerly in a right line of the northern line
of land conveyed by James Gillis to Karl Clundt, by deed dated
August 25, 1887, and recorded August 30, 1867, in book 334 of Deeds,
page 97; and running thence southerly along said line of Pearl
Street thirty-two feet; thence easterly parallel with said western
extension of said northern line of the land conveyed to Karl Clundt
above referred to, to the western line of that certain lot of land
conveyed by James Gillis to Karl Clundt by deed dated July 25, 1667,
and recorded July 28, 1687 in book 325 of Deeds et page 392; thence
northerly along the western line of said last named land thirty-two
feet; thence westerly in a streight line to the point of beginning,
from Residential District, Class I, to Residential District, Class II, and the
Clerk is directed to post nctices of hearing thereon before the City Planning Board,
as required by Ordinance No. 370, New Series, as emended.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City- of 1ameda in
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 25th day ef October, 1937, by the follow-
ing vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Carrington, (1).
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1 have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 26th day of October,1937.
