tions for the construction. of 300 feet of twelve foot chair link fence at McKinley Park
in the City of Alameda, filed in the office of the City Clerk on January 4, 1036, he
and the same are hereby approved. and adopted.
L EGOLVED JUPTHRF that the constroction of said 300 feet of twelve foot chain
link fence, in accordance with the plans apd specifications therefor, be and tte sane
is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED FURTHER that Inc Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of h:35 o'clock F.M. on Tuesday, the 102 day of january, 1939,
for the construction of 300 feet of twelve foot chain link fence at IA:Finley Perk, in
accordance with said plans and specifications, to which reference is hereby made for
full details and description. "lids shall be delivered to the City Clerk at Mao City
Hall in Alameda, Californla.
Ali proposals shall be presented under sealed cover, and shall be accompanied
by a cashier's check or certified check, drawn on a responsible bank, payatie to the
order of the City of Alameda, for an amount equal to et least ten per cent of the
areate amount of such proposal, which check, and the amount Thereof, shall be
forfeited to the City of Alameda as agreed and liquidated damages by any bidder to
whom the contract is awarded in the event that such bidder shall fail to enter into a-
contract in the manner and within the time set forth in said specifications.
Bidders will be furnished fords of proposals upon application to the City
Engineer, and all proposals shall be made on forms so furnished; bids must he made
withopt erasure or alteration.
Proposals shall specify a lump sum Price. 'he price hid must include all
Wt ate and Federal taxes.
Thp City Council reserves The tight to reject any and all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Etar
notice canine for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said plans and specifications.
