ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR PURCHASING PORTLAND
CEMENT FOR THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL C' THE CITY OE ALAMEDA that the specifications for
the purchase of 320 barrels of :Portland Cement by the City of Alsmeda, filed in the
office of the City Clerk on January 18, 1938, be and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 8:15 o'clock P.M., on Tuesday, thn lot day of February, 1938,
for the purchase of said materials in accordance with said specifications. Bids shall
be delivered to the City Clerk at the City. Hall in Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Tines—Star
a notice calling for sealed bids. in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of shid specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 18th day of January,1936, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Maurer, Morris and iresident Weichhart, (3).
NOES: None.
AHSINT: Councilmen Carrington and Godfrey, (2).
