APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE LIBRARY BOARD
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAI that pursuant to the provisions
of Article X ofthe Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor,
Charles W. Griffin is hereby appointed to the office of member of the Library Board,
for a term expiring on June 30, 1943.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 7th day of June,1938, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart,(4).
NOES; None
ABSENT: Councilman Morris, (1).
