APPOINTING MEMBERS OF SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAIELA that pursuant to the provis-
ions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the
Mayor, the following persons are hereby appointed to the office of member ofthe Social
Service Board, for terms as follows:
George W. Hickman, for a term expiring on June 30, 1941;
Mrs. Ruth Mathebat, for a term expiring on June 30, 1941.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 7th day of June,1938, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart,(4),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Morris, (1).
