ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR PURCHASING PORTLAND CEMENT FOR
TUE CITY OF ALAMEDA AWN DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
RESOLVED BP THE COUVCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the specifications for
the purchase of 1000 barrels, more or less, of Portland Cement by the City of Alameda,
filed in the office of the City Clerk. on July 19, 1938, be and the same are hereby
apprcved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of 8:15 o' clock P.M. on Tuesday, the 2nd day of Atlust, 1938,
for the purchase of said material in accordance with said specifications( Bids shall
be delivered to the City Clerk at the City Hall in AlaMeda, California.
The City Clerk 13 hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star
a natio° canine; for sealed bias in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted. by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
mooting assembled an the 19th day of July, 1938, by the following vote, to wit:
AY(ES: Councilmen Corrington, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Godfrey, (1).
