Resolution 02280RESOLUTION NO. 2280 GRANTING PERMIT TO HENRY C. HACKE, HIS HEIRS Ida) ASSIGNS, TO CONSTRUCT, RECONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE A RAILROAD SPUR TRACK ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF BRYANT A.ND SPRUCE STREETS IN TH6 CITY OF ALAMEDA. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: That a permit he and hereby granted to Henry C. Hacke, his heirs and assigns, to construct, reconstruct and maintain a single railroad spur trac, and to operate locomotives, trains or cars thereon, with steam or electric motive power, along the following center line description: Beginning at a point in the center line of Southern Pacific Company's spur track in Bryant Street, in the City of Alameda, County of Alwoeda, State of California, said point being 15.4 feet easterly meas- ured at right angles from the westerly line of Bryant Street and being 45.87 feet southerly measured at right angles from the southerly line of Spruce Street; thence Northwesterly along the arc of a curve concave to the west, with a radius of 121.122 feet, en are distance of 58.57 feet to a point, thence continuing north- westerly, a tangent distance of 15.64 feet to a point; thence along the arc of a curve concave to the East with a radius of 260.555 feet, an arc distance of 24.56 feet to a. point on the northerly line of Spruce Street and being 4.0 feet westerly from the wester- ly line of Bryant Street This permit is granted for the purpose of connecting the warehouses, manu- facturing plants, and other industries of the permitee with the existing spur track of the Southern Pacific Company, for the transportation of freight only. This permit is grEnted upon condition that all switching movements over such spur track shall be no conducted as not to block longer than is necessary the streets traversed by said spur track. The permit hereby granted shall be revocable at the pleasure of the Council of the City of Alameda. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th day of August, 1938, by the following vote, to wit. AYES: Councilmen Carrington, 12.orris and President Weichhart, (5). NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilmen Godfrey and Maurer, (2).
