WHrREAS the Southern Pacific - Golden Gate Ferries, Ltd., has filed its appli- cation with the Railroad Commission of the State of California for a certificate of public convenience and necessity permitting said company to discontinue its automobile ferry service from the City of Alameda to the City cf San Francisco, RESOLVED, that the City Manager and the City Attorney be, and they are,hereby authorized and directed to appear at the hearings to he held before said Commission on said matter on behalf of the City of Alameda, and to take such action as may be necessary to protect the interests of the residents of the City of Alameda. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution wns duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th day of Octhber, 1938, by the following vote, to wit: (5).
