APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE OF ONE QUARTER CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED
FOR STAIT HIGHWAYS.
WHEREAS, the State of California,through its Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement in
accordance with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4
cent gas tax for the 1937-1939 biennium allocated for State highways in the City of
Alameda, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said Agreement in fu]1 and is famil-
iar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Alameda that said
Agreement for expenditure of the 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for State highways be and
the same is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are directed to sign the same
on behalf of said City.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 4th day of October, 1938, by the following vote, towit:
