RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CHANGE ZONE ON
COUNCIL'S OWN MOTION.
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda, that it is the intention
of said Council, on its own motion and without a petition therefor, to initiate
proceedings for changing and reclassifying the raal property situate in the City of
Alameda described as follows:
All that lot of land situated in the City of Alameda,
County of Alameda, State of California, and described as
follows:
Commencing at a point on the westerly line of High
Street, which point is 94 feet northerly from its inter-
section with the nortterly line of Central Avenue as the
said street and avenue are shown on the map hereinafter
referred to, running thence northerly 40 feet thereupon
to a point, thence westerly parallel with the said line
of Central Avenue 80 feet to a point, thence southerly
parallel with said line of High Street 40 feet to a point,
thence easterly parallel with said line of Central Avenue
8o feet to the point of beginning.
BEING portions of Lots 1 and 2 in Block "A", as said
lots and block are shown on Map, "Subdivision Map of the
Sather and Robinson Tract, Alameda, Alameda County,
California, 1885" - filed July 18, 1885, in Book 4 of Maps,
at page 25, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda
County,
from a Residential District, Class I to a Business District, Class III, and the
Clerk is directed. to post notices of hearing thereon before the City Planning Board,
as required by Ordinance No. 370, New Series, as amended.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted. by the Council of the City- of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 4th day of Odober, 1938, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen. Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhert, (5).
NOES; None.
ABSENT: None,
