ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING PETROLEUM
PRODUCTS TO THE CITY OF ALWMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING TEE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAI1E.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing the following items, to wit, Item 1. Premium Gasoline;
Item 2. Ethyl Gasoline; Item 3. Lubricating Oils; Item 4. Kerosene, to the City of
Alameda during the fiscal year ending June 30, 1940, No, 112 4391, filed in the office
of the City Clerk on April 18, 1939, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:15 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the second day of May, 1939,
for furnishing to the City the aforesaid items during the fiscal year ending June 30,
1940, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be Presented
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked on the outside "Bid For Furnishing Petroleum Products."
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the Provisions: of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of April, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart, (4).
NOES: None. ABSENT: Councilman Morris, (1).
