FIXING TIME F02 HEARING OBJECTIONS AGAINST CLOSING OF
PORTION OF PARK AVENUE LYING SOUTH OF SOUTHERLY LINE
OF ROOSEVELT DRIVE.
WHEREAS, ou March. 21, 1939 the Council of the City of Alameda passed its
Resolution No. 2343 declaring its intention to order the closing of that portion of Park
Avenue in the City of Alameda lying south of the southerly line of Roosevelt Drive, and
WHEREAS, within 10 days after the expiration of the time of the publication
of the notice prescribed in said resolution and by law, written objections signed by
interested persons were delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Alameda, and
WHEREAS, at this, the next meeting of this Council after the expiration
of said 10 day period, the said City Clerk has laid said objections before this Council,
NCW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF ALAMEDA that
Tuesday, May 2, 1939 , at 8:30 o'clock p.m. of said day, at the Council Chambers in the
City Rail of the City of AlFnieda, be, and is hereby, fixed as the time and place for hear-
ing said objections. The City Clerk shall notify the persons making such objections as
required by law.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 18th day of April, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilman Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer and President Weichhart,
NOES: None. ABSENT; Councilman Morris, (1).
