ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING ONE STANWIRD
TWO-DOOR COUPE TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS
AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE 731 SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL Cr' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the specifications and
Provisions for furnishing one (1) standard two-door coupe to the City of Alameda,
No. MS 5-393, filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 2, 1939, be, and the same
are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive sealed
bids up to the hour of B:15 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the 16th day of May, 1939, for
the furnishing to the City of one (1) standard two-door coupe, in accordance with
said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City Hall in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside
'Proposal for Furnishing One (1) Standard Two-Door Coupe.'
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the Charter
of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right
is reserved to reject any or ell bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda Times-Star, a
notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
anti of said Specifications and PTCViSiODS.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 2nd day of May, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Weich-
hart, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
