WHEREAS, a vacancy now exists in the office of City Clerk of
the City of Alameda;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALL&EDA that
LOREME R. BEATIE be, and is hereby, appointed to the office of City
Clerk of the City of Alameda.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of May, 1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Jeichhart, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
