DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE 1' 33 SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL C THE CITY OF AL.41!EDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing Vitrified Ironstone Sewer Pipe to the City of Alameda,
No. 1$S 5-393, filed in the office of the City Clerk. on. May 10, 1939, be, and the same
are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTMER that the Council of' the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the 1101.17 of 0:15 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, the Cth day of Tune, 1960,
for the furnishing to the City of Vitrified Ironstone Sewer pipe, in accordance with
said Specifications and Provisions. Bide must be presented to the City Clerk, in the
City' Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly narked or the cutside
"Proposal For Vitrified ironstone Sewer Pipe".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder rho submits the lowest end best bid.
The rilght is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.

meeting assembled on the 16th day of May, 1939. by the following vote, to wit:
