ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING PORTLAND CEMENT
TO THE CITY C ALAFEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AIM DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE IKE SAME.
RESOLVED BY IHE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and provisions for furnishing Portland Cement to the City of Alameda, No. ME 5-396,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 16, 1959, be and the same are hereby,
approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FUTSTS=R that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour uf e:15 o'clock D.M. on Tuesday, the 6th day of June, 1939,
for the furnishing to the City ef Portland Cement, in accordance with said apecifications
and Provisions. Bids nut be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and -Plainly marked on the outside "Proposal. For Portland
Cement'.
Contract, if awarded, will to awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the resnonsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is •reserve d to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
e. notice ceiling for sealed bide in. accordance vitt. the provisions of this resolution
and. of said Specificatdons and Provisions.
