Resolution 02366RESOLUTION NO. 2366 SUSTAINING OBJECTIONS TO THE CLOSING OF THAT PORTION OF PARK AVENUE LYING SOUTH OF THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF ROOSEVELT DRIVE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, on the 21st day of March, 1939, pass its resolution No. 2343, declaring its intention to order the closing up of that portion of Park Avenue lying south of the southerly line of Roosevelt Drive, more particularly described in said resolution of intention; and WHEREAS, notices were posted along the lines of said contemplated work and improvement and published in a newspaper of general circulation, in time, form and manner required by law; and WHEREAS, within the time provided by law certain written objections to the closing of said street were delivered to and riled with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda and a hearing thereon was duly held by this Council in the manner required by law; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforesaid objections be, and the sane are hereby, sustained and that all further pro- ceedings herein be terminated. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of June, 1939, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, (4).
