Resolution 02367RESOLUTION NO. LEASING WASHINGTON PARK aATIT HOUSE TO TB' STATE OF CALIFORNIA; APPROVING TERMS AND FORM OF LEASE AND AUTHORIZING 1HE EXECUTION TH2REOF. WHEREAS, the State of California, hereinafter referred to as Lessee, by and through its duly appointed, Qualified and acting The Adjutant General, has applied to the City of Alameda for a lease of those certain premises known as the Washington Park Bath House in the City of Alameda, for the purpose of conducting therein the business of the State, for a term of one year ending June 30, 1940 and at a total rental of six hundred and 00/100 dollars (0600.00), payable in installments of fifty and 00/100 dollars (050.00) at the end of each calendar month; and WHEREAS, a form of lease containing the covenants and agreements stipulated and agreed upon between the City and said Lessee has been submitted to this Council at its regular meeting held on June 6, 1939; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows: Sec. 1. That the form of lease referred to in the preamble hereof be, and the same is hereby, approved and ordered filed with the City Clerk of said City. Sec. 2. That the premises known as Washington Park Bath House in the City of Alameda be leased to the State of California for a term beginning July 1$ 1939 and ending June 30, 194J, at the total rental of six hundred and 00/100 dollars (600.00) payable in installments of fifty and 00/100 dollars (050.00) at the end of each calendar month during said term and otherwise upon the covenants and agreements contained in the draft of lease submitted to this Council and filed as aforesaid. Sec, 3. The Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, as the act and deed of the City of Alameda, a lease substantially in the form and containing the covenants and agreements set forth in the aforesaid form of lease. * * * 5 I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council or the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day of June, 1939, by the following vote, to wit; AYES; Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Norris and President Weichhart, (4).
