APPOINTING MEMBERS OF SOCIAL SERVICE BOARD
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAYEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomina-
tion of the Mayor, Mrs. P. S. Barton and Rev. Sumner Walters are hereby appointed
to the office of member of the Social Service Board of the City of Alameda, each
for a term commencing on July 1, 1939 and expiring on June 30, 1942, and until
their successors are appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of June,1939, by the following vote,
to wit:

Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Welch-

ABSENT: None.
