APPOINTING MEMBERS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to
the provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Aleneda, end upon
nomination of the Mayor, S. L. Rea is hereby appointed to the office of member
of the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda for a term commencing on July
1, 1939 and expiring on June 30, 1944 and until his successor is appointed
and qualified.
RESOLVED FURTEER that pursuant to the provisions of Article X of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomination of the Mayor, Charles B.
Morris is hereby appointed to thu office of member of the Civil Service. Board
of the City of Alameda for a term expiring June 30, 1942, to fill the unexpired
term of Albert C. Agnew, resigned, and to serve until his successor is appointed
and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of June, 1939, by the following

AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhart, (5).
