APPOITING TUBBER OF BOARD OF EDUCATION
RESOLVED BY Ti COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and upon nomina
tion of the Mayor, William H. Hitchings is hereby appointed to the office of
member of-the Board of Education of the City of Alameda for a term commencing
July 1, 1939 and expiring on June 30, 1944, and until his successor is appointed
and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meetinv assembled on the 00th day of June, 1939, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhart, (5).
NOES: Nona
ABSENT: None.
