ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING STREET LIGHTING
STANDARDS TO TIE CITY OF ALAMEDA, CALLING FOR 'BIDS
AND DIRECTING THE CITE CLERK TO ADVERTISE 11 SAYE
RESOLVEI HY TUE COUNCIL OE THE CITY OF ALAYEDA that the
Specifications for furnishing street lighting standards to the City of
Alameda, No. 213 7-331.0, filed. in the office of the City Clerk on June 29,
1333, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED FURTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will
receive sealed bias up to the hour of 8:15 olclock p. m. on Tuesday, the
13th day of July, 1935, for the furnishing to the City cf street lighting
standards in accordance with said Specifications. Bids must be presented,
to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal For Street Lighting
Standards".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions
of the charter of said. City, to the responsible bidder who submits the
lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any cr all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda
Times-Star, a nctice calling, for sealed bids in accordance with the pro-
visions of this resolution and of said Specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify' that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by Lle COUTICii of the City of
Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 29th day of 0-une, 1333,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhar , (4),
NOES: None.
AHSENT: Councilman Godfrey, (1).
