AUTINTRIZING CONSTRUCTION OF REINEGRCED CONCRETE

WHEREAS, the propassd installation of a central fire alarm station
in the City of Alameda madc . it necessary- that a reinfsTced concrete battery
building be constructed at the cityts electric central substation at the
corner of Edgie Avenue and tEinton. Street ih. said city; and.
Wita=21, the City Enginber has prepared a. project and plans and
estimates for the construction of such building; end
WHEREAS, the labbr in performing the wvnk af construction of such
concrete battery building is to be done princitallv by labor furnished
through the Works Progmess Aarninisthation, and
WHEREAS, in the opinion. uf the City Coumcil said. war k. and the
construction of said reinforced concrete battery building can. be serfornbd.

NCW, THEREFORE, DE ff RESOLVED 3 THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF
ALAMEDA that the construction of a reinforced concrete battery building at
the City of Aiamedats electric central substation at Eagle Avenue and Minturn
Street in said city, in accordance with said project, plans and spebifications,

BE IT FURTHER ]EEOLVED that this Council hereby finds and deterEines
that, in its opinion, said work and the construction of the aforesaid rein-
forced concrete battery building will be porfarmed more economically by the
city- without contract; and.
BE 17' FURTHER REEOLVEN that said work and. the construction of said
concrete building be, and is hereby, authorlsed and ordered to be dune by the
city throuhh its officers and employees and as a. Works. Pros:fess Admtnistration
