APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
RESOLVED BY IHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant
to the provisions of Article X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and
upon nomination of the Mayor, Robert M. Eschen is hereby appointed to the
office of member of the Civil Service Board of the City of Alameda for a
term expiring Judie 30, 141, to fill the unexpired term cf Irving Coen,
resigned, and to serve until. his successor is appointed and qualified,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda. in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the lith day of July,
1939, by the following vote, to wit:
AYEB: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and
President Weichhart, (.5).
