RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF ENE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifi-
cations and Provisions for furnishing Rock., Sand and Concrete Mix to the
City of Alameda, No, 11 7-3911, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
July 18, 1935, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
REsoLvas FIMNER that the Council of the City of Alameda will
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 ololock p, n, on Tuesday, the
lot day of August, 1959, for the furnishing to the City of Rock, Sand and
Concrete Mix, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Sibs
must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Ala:Leda, California,
under sealed Cover and plainly marked. en the outside "PropOsal For Rock,
Sand, and Concrete
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions
of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the
lowest and best bid, The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby' directed to advertise, in the Alameda
Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance ulth the pro-
visions of this resolution and c/' said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda. in regular meeting assembled on the 12th day of Jul;;, 1959, by the
following vote, to wit:
EYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and
President Weichhart, (5).
