WITEREAS, the State of California, through it5 Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, has presented. a -First Supplemental Memorandum of
Agruement to It entered into with the State of California in accurdrnbe with
a project statement submitted by the City D 1 Alameda for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas tax for the 19,59-19,41 biennium allocated for State highways in
the City of Alameda; and
WHERAS, the Council of the City of Rlameda has heard read said
First Supplemental Memorandum of Mreement in full and is familiar with the
contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE , UE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE TGE CITY OF .UAMEDA
that said First Supplementn1 Remorandum of Agreement for cKeendi.ture of the 1/4
cent gas tux for the 1939-1941 biennium allocated fer State highways in Inc
City of Alameda be, and the same is hereby, sopproyed, and the Mayor and the
City Clerk are directed to sign the same on behalf ef the City' of Alameda-
