TRANSFERRING 92,724.00 FPOU THE GEhTRAL FUND
TO EUDdET ACCOUNT 70-h,
WHEREAS, this Council by its resolution numbered 2440 heretofore trans-
ferred the sum of V,,724.00 from the General Fund, Budget Account 70-b, to Retirement-
Suspense! Fund 92, said amount representing the prior service liability of the Depart-
ment of Public Utilities for the fiscal year 1939-40 under the Alameda Municipal
Enployeesq Retirement System; and
MEEREAS, said sum when transferred from the Department of Pi.blib Utili-
ties Wes credited to the General Fund and not to Account 70-b and was erroneously
so transferred from Budget Account 70-b;
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMEak THAT
THE SUM OF $2,724,00 be, and the sane is hereby, transferred from the General Fund
of the City to Budget Account 70-b.
The Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to Doke the
necessary transfers or their reepective books.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adocted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assemblen on the 20tb may of February, 1940, by the followinG
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, odfrey, 'Maurer, Morris and President
Weichnart, (5).
NOES: None.
