APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD
PESOEVED BY 7M:To COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to
the proyloions of Article X of the Charter of ti o Celty of Alameda, and upon
nominution of the Mayor, Walter V. Howe is hereby appointed to the office
of member of the Civil. Sermiee Board. of the City of Alameda for a. term com-
mencing 'July I, 1940 and expiring en June 50, 1945, and. until his successor
is appointed and qualified.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced, and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in. regular meeting assembaed on the 18th day' of Eune, 1940, by the
