APPOINTING MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to the
provisions of Ayticle X of the Charter of the City of Alameda, and. upon nomi-
nation of the Mayor, Dr. Alice B. Burke is hereby appointed to the office of
member of the Hoard of Education of the City of Alameda for a term comsneing
on July 1, 1540 and expiring on June 5O, 1945, and until her oncoessor is
appointed onT qualified-
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the forejoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and. adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled. on the 18th day of June, 1940, by the following
vote, to wit:
