and style of Goodell a Henry, be, and they are herety, appointer. as accountants
fog the City. of Almnsda for the fismal ybar 1940-1941, fbr the purpose of imves-
tigating the transactions and audng the books and accounts of all offices apP
officers of the City, in accordance with anT„ as more fully specifier in Sectioms
12-4bb) and 12-4(o) of the Charter of the Gity of Alameda.
RESOLVET FURTHER that the commensation. of said Goodell. & Henry for
their servlees to be rendered to said. City- during the fiscal year 1940r1V41 in
auditing the books and accounts of all. the offices and officers ef the City. as
aforesaL1 be, and the same lA herebym fixed at the total sum of 42,550,00, to
be allocated. as follows: (a) Fmr the services required. in investigating the
transactions and auditing the accounts of the Public Mbilities Board of the
City, $1,350.00 b) For ell other services required under the Charter of the
City, the sum of ?1,200.00. Said Sum shall be payable at the rate of $212.50
per month during said. fiscal year::
Tr the event that the City shou1 d. require special, audits, or services
in additian to those specified 2 said 31 and in the contract hereinafter
referred to, said accountants shall he compensated. therefor at the per diem rate

RESOLVED FrAPCITER that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute and the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of
the City of Alameda, a contract surstantielly in the form and containing the
-covenants, agreements and provisions set forth in the aferesaid form of contract,
