ADOPTING BUDGET FOR CONDUCTIEG THE EAST BAY
SEAVAGD ScJINTEY ELED THE IDN'ESEGURE OF MOTLEYS
IS THE EAST DAY SEWAGE SURVEY DISPOSAL FUND.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution Bo, 2433, adopted
December. 19, 1939, an agreement was duly executed between the City. of Alameda and
the cities of Berkeley, Oakland, Albany, Piedmont, Emeryville ash Richmond, whicri
agreement bears date of June 7, 1940, and
WitaftEAS, it is provided in said agreement that the EXOCUtiVe Cconittee
therein named shall prepare a budget for the. ekpanditure or moneys in the Sewage
Disposal Survey Fund provided for in aid contrast, said budget to be approved by
the respective Councils cf the cities aforementioned; and
WEAREAS, said Executive Committee, on Gune 21, 1940, prepared and
adopted a budget for tho expenditure of said funds, copy of which budget is hereto
attached and made a ?art hereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF T CITY OF ALASFDA.
that the aforesaid budget be, and the same is hereby, approved.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Counci2 . of the City. of Alameda
inlegular meeting assembled on the 6th day of August, 1940, by. the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and. President
Weichhart, ;5).
NOES: None. ASSENT: Sono.
