Resolution 02508RESOLUTION NO. 2508 APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF 1/4 CENT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF MAJOR ILTORTANCE. WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, has presented a memorandum of agreement in accord- anue with a project statement submitted by the City for expenditure of the 1/4 cent as tax for the fiscal year 1941 allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways in the City of Alameda; and VEEREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in full and is familiar with the contents thereof, and desires to approve the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED DY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said agreement for expenditure of 1/4 cent gas tax allocated for streets of major importance other than State highways be, and the same is hereby, ap- proved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed, to sign the same on behalf of said City. * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of August, 1940, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Weicatart, (5).
