Resolution 02510RESOLUTIO.: NO. 2510 FIXING TIME FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS AGAINST CLOSING PORTIONS OF CLAY STREET ORD FILLMORE STREET IN TEE CITY OF ALAMZDA. 'AEFREAS, on July 16, 1940, the Council of the City of Alameda passed its Resolution No. 2503 declaring its intention to order the closing of portions of Clay Street and Fillmore Street in the City of Alameda more particularly des- cribed in said resolution; and WHEREAS, within 10 days after the expiration cf the time of the publi- cation of the notice prescribed in said resolution and by law, written objections signed by interested persons were delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Alameda; and VEEREAS, at this, the next meeting of this Council after the expiration of said 10 day period, the said City Clerk has laid said objections before this Council; NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 0Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that Tuesday, September 3, 1940, at 8:30 o'clock p. m. of said day, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Alameda, be, and is hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing said objections. The City Clerk shall notify the per- sons making such objections as reouired by law. the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of August, 1940, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President Weichhart, (5).
