Resolution 02521RESOLUTION NO. 2521 SUSTAINING OBJECTIONS TO THE CLOSING OF PORTIONS OF CLAY' STREET AND FILLITCRE STREET IN THE CITY OF ALAIREDA. WHEREAS, the Council of the City f Alameda did, on the 16th day of ally, 1940, pass its resolution No. 2503 declaring its intention to order the closing up of portions of Clay Street and Fillmore Street, in the City of Alameda, more particularly deocribed in said resolution of intention, and WEITREAS, notices were posted along thr lines of said contemplated work and improvement and published in a newspaper of general circulation, in. tine, form and manner required by law; and WHEREAS, within the time provided by law certair . written objections to the closing of said streets were delivered to and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda and a hearing thereon was duly held by this Council in the manner required by law; LOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALALEDA that the aforesaid objections be, and the same are hereby, sustained and that all further proceedings herein be terminated. * * * * •* * * the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alcrieda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 10th day of September, 1940, by the following vote, to wit; AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Maurer, Morrih and President Weichhart, (4).
