ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FUMIISHING ONE STEEL CAB
1/2 TON PICK-TJP TRUCK TO THE CITY CF ALAMEDA, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY TILE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one steel cab 1/2 ton pick-up truck to the City of
Alameda, No. MS 9-409, filed in the office of the City Clerk on October 1, 1940,
be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda. will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 805 o'clock p. m. on Tuesday, October 15, 1940, for
the furnishing to the City of one steel cab 1/2 ton pick-up truck, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk,
in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on
the outside "Proposal for Pick-up Truck".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of October, 1940, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey and Maurer, (3).
NCES: None.
ARSENT: Councilmen Morris and President Weichhart, (2).
