ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TWO STEEL CAB
TON DUMP TRUCKS TO TI LS CITY OF ALAMDA, CALLING FOR
BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY TEZ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
an Provisions for furnishing two steel cab 1 ton dumpArucks to the City of
Alameda, No 100 9-4010, filed in the office of the City Clerk on October 1, 1940,
Be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re.
ceive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock p. m. on Tuesday, October 15,
1940, for the furnishing to the City of two steel cab i ton dump trucks in
accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked. on the outside "Proposal for Dump Trucks".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and. Provisions.

I, the undersined, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the let day of October, 1940, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey and Maurer, (9).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Norris and President Weichhart, (2).
