ENDORSING APPLICATION OF TRANSCONTINENTAL es WESTERN AIR,
TO ADD TO ITS PRESENT ROUTE THE CITIES OF LUBBOCK,
ABILENE, FORT WORTH, DALLAS), AUSTIN AND HOUSTON IN THE
STATE OF TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Transcontinental & Western Air, Inc., proposes to serve the
cities of Lubbock, Abilene, Fort Werth, Dallao, Dustin nd Houston in the State
cf Texas; aad
WHEREAS, at the present time adequate transportation to these cities
from the City of Alameda does not exist; and
WHEREAS, it l5 believed. that the addition. of these cities to the
Transcontinental 1 Western Air route will fulfill Inc present need for nee-
quote air transportation from this city to the Taxis area; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED; that the City of Alameda endorses the application of
Transcontinental. es Western Air, Inc., and requests Inc Civil. AeTonautics Boari
that tte necessary certificate 0 granted.
