CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE THE SAD.M. yux
RESOLVED BY THE couNcIL OF TIE: CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one new, 1941 model, steel body ambulance to the
City of Alameda, No. MEb10-4015, filed in the office of the City Clerk on October
15, 1940, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids pp to the hour of 8:(15 o'clock P. M. on Wednesday, November 6t i940,
for the furnishing to the City of one new, 1941 model, steel body ambulance in
accordance with said Specifications and Proisions, Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, iv. the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and
plainly marked oz, . the outside "Proposal. for Ambulance".
Contract, if awarded, will. be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidPer who submits the lowust and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby dirootod to advertise, in the Alameda Tames-
Star, 3 notice calling for sealud lids in accordance with the previsions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and. Drovisibns.
