TO ADVERTISE THE SAME.
RESOLVED BY TUE COUNCIL OF TH1 CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and Provisions for furnishing one new, 1941 model, tel cab 1/2 ton pick-up
truck to the City of Alameda, No. .. 11-4014, filed in the office of the City
Clerk on Koveiober 6, 1940, be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will re-
ceive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 ofclock P. Y. on Tuesdey, November 15th,
1940, for the furnishinE to the City of Alameda of one nee, 1941 model, steel
cab 1/2 ton pick-up truck in accordance with Said Specifications and Provisions,
aids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hail, Alameda, California,
under sealed cover end plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for Fick-up
Truck.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clark is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids LR accordance vdth the previsions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Previsions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 6bli day of November, 1540, by toe following
vote, to wit:
