ADOPTING STECIFIOATIONS FOR FURNISHING LIGHTING STANDARDS
TO TEE CITY OF LIATMEDA, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERIK TO ADVERTISE THE ,
RESOLVED, PY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AL 2102-, that the Specifications
for furnishing 120 lighting standards to the City of Alec, No. MS -11-4017,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on November 12, 1540, be, and the same are
hereby, approved end adopted.
RESOLVED YERTHER that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, December 3, 1940, .
for the furnishing to the City of 120 lighting standards, in accordance with
said. dpecifications. Dids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Phil,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the outside "Bid
for furnishing Street lighting Standards".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of
the Gharter of said City, to the responpible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved. to reject any or all. bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Ntax, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Reoclution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1902 day of November, 1940, by the followinm
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Carrington, Godfrey, Maurer, Morris and President
Weichhart, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
