ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE FROM DELFINA CARPANETO OF CERTAIN
LANDS FOR HIGHWAY PURPOSES AND CONSENTING TO THE
RECORDATION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, a certain indenture, dated October 7, 1940, made by and between
Pelfina Carpaneto, a widow, as Grantor, and the City of Alameda, a municipal cor-
poration, as Grantee, conveying to said City of Alameda the following described
real property, for the purpose of maintaining therein and thereon a public street
and highEay:
The Eastern. Forty (40) feet of Lots 12 17.), 14, 17, 18 and
19, in Block 17; the Eastern Forty (40) feet cf Block 24
and 29; and all that portion of Block 36 which lies easterly
of a direct line drawn northerly from a point on the northern
lime of Brush, formerly Manzamita, Street, distant thereon
westerly 40.04 feet from the western line of Main 'Street,
formerly Main Avenue, to a point on the southern line of
Maple, formerly Willow, Stret, distant thereon westerly
65,02 feat from said line of Main Street, as said blocks,
etrehts and avenue are shown on the "New Map of Woodstock" -
filed May 8, 1675, in book 6 of Maps at page 18, in the
office of the County Recorder cf Alamedo County, situated
in the City of Alameda, County cf Alameda, State of
California,
has teen duly executed and delivered to the City of Alameda by the said Grantor;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY 2E COUNCIL CF THE CITY CF ALAMMA,
that the aforementioned indenture be, and. the same is hereby, accepted on behalf
of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said
City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders this
resolution to be attache0 thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code
of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby. certii y. that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regulohly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th. day of November, 1940, by the following
vote, to wit:
