AND TONES TO THE CITY OF .ALANEDA, FOR THE FISCAL VEAR
1941-194,2, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING THE CITY GLENN
TO ADVERTISE TNE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE councIL OF THE CITY OP ALAMEDA that the Sprcifications
and Provisions for furnishing autommbile tires and. tubes to the City of Alameda
for the fiscal year beginndng (Lily 1, 1941 and ending Lane 30, 1942, 19, l'AS 3-414,
filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 1, 1941, be, and the same ars
hereby, prayed and adopted.
RESOLVED, FfriblIER, that t Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. on Tuesday, April 15, 1941, for
the furnishing to the City of automobile tires ard tubes for the fiscal year be-
ginig July 1, 1941 and ending Jane 30, 1942 in accordance with said Specifica-
timns and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plaikly marked on the outside
"Proposal for Tires and Tubes".
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded, subject to the provisions of the
chartbr of said City, to the responsible bidder who submitr thm lobbst and best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Stbm, a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with provEsions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
