AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGRFFHENT WITH EAST NAY
MTNICIPAL OTRITTV DISTRITCT FOR INSTALLATION OF WATER
MAIN IN CLIMENT AVENUE BETWEEN STANFORD STREET AHD
CHESTNUT STET= IN lthE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the public intertst that a water maih
be installed in anR along Clement Agenue between Stanford. Street and. Chestnut
Street in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, tha Fast. Bay lthanicical Utility District, a body corporate and
hhlitic in the State of California, is willing to install said watch main. in con-
slration. of a payment of 1 Hundred. Fifty and 00/100 0150.00) to be medP to
it by the City of Alameda and upon certain. other conditiont set forth in the con-
tract hereinafter referred to; and
WEILUILS, a fo0 m. of contract containing tha stipulations and agreements
to be stinulated and agrhed upon by and between the City of Alameda and said.

been prepared and submitted to this Council at its regular mugging held April 15,
ljAl and u rdered. filed with. the City- Clerk of said. city and marked filed April
15, 1941;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF INE CITY OF ALAMEDA,
as follows:
(1) That tht form of contract referred. to in the preamble hereof and
the terns covenants, agreements. and provisions thereof be, and the same are
hereby, approved.
(2) The Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed
to execute, and the City (Clerk to attest, as the net and. deed of the City of Ala-
meda, an agreement substantially in. the form and containing tha terms, covenants,
agreements and provisions set forth in the aforesaid fors. of contract.
