RESOLVED BY THE tOPLAIL OF TEE CITY CB AIAKEDA that public interest
and nocessity require, and said Council. hereby declares its Aotehtion to ordmr,
the grades of that portion. of Webster Street. lying between. the Segregation Line
and a. line drawn parallel to said Segoegation Lane and distant northerly ther
from twenty-five hundred (2500) feet, measured alonE the center lino of Webster
Street, to be modified and mhanged so as to corremoond to tho elevation.. above
the official datum. plaro '- the City of Aimpeda, at the top of the curb on both
sideb of said street, as follows:
At the Segregation Eine the elevation shall be 3.25 feet as the samo
now exists; thence northerly on a level grade for a distance of '4 ' ' '; thonce
noTtherly on a uniformly ascending grade for a distance of 1500 feet to elevation
6.00 feet; thence northerly on a uniformly' descending grade for a distance of 450
feet. to elovotion 3.00 feet.
The "Segmegation Eine" hereinabove referred to is the lino segregating
high and. dry land from the marsh land, as said Segregotion iane io delineated. and
so designated on that certain. map entitled: "Nab of Alamoda Marsh Lands am par-
titionod among the ownero thereof in the Suit numbered 8923 and entitled '4 0"

offlce ov the County Recordor of Alameda. County in. Map Book 25 Pages 74 to 78.
This resolution of intention shall be posted conspictionsly'for two (2)
days on. or near the chamber door of the Council Chamber of this Council and shall
be published by two (2) '10 'o insertions, and for one (1) additaonal inser-
tion on the seventh day after tho date of the first insertion, in the Alampda
Timos-Star, a daaly newspaper of genoral circulation publishod and eirculateb. in
