RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE TEE CITY OF ALAMEDA that said Council will
receive sealed. bids up to the hour of 5:00 o'clock p. mh, on Tuesday, the 24th.
day of June, 1921, for the publication of all legal advertising of said City for
and during the fiscal year ending Joe 530, 1942.
Such advertising most be published in a nowspaper of general circulation.
rublishod in the City of Alameda for• a period of not less th% n. one year immediate-
ly preceding the making Df such bid and having a bona fide paid circulation of at
least 1B00 copies.
Said advertising shall be in accordance with the following specifications:
(15 All advertisemnts shall be set in solid six-point (nonpareil)
type, in columns of 24, enb to t line and 134 ems to the square, extent that
by reqdest of the officer authorizing the same such advertisement may be set in
such larger type and with such spacing between lines as such officer mby direct;
(2; Titles and sub-headings shall be set in six-point capitals
(nonpareil), 8.1d1 -f091. type, or in such larger type as may be specified by
the officer antooririmg the advertisement.
Bidders shall state in their proposals for doing said legal advertising

Contract for such legbi advertising, if awarded, will be awarded, sub-
ject to the provibions of the charter of said City, to the responbibib bidder
who submits the lowebt and best bid. lbe right is reserved to reject any' or all
bids.

shall be known, for the. term of such contract, as the "Official Newspaper" of thb
City for legal advertising.
The City Clerk is hereby. directed to advertise, in. the Alameda Times-
Star, a notice calling for sealed bids in. accordance with the provisions. of this
resolution.
