PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF.
RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OE TEE CITY OF ALATEDA that P. E. Goodell,
G. L. Byers and W. R. Henry, certified publib accountants, doing business under
the firm name and style of Goodell, Bybrs ST Henry, be, and they are herebym ap-
pointed as accountants for the City of Alameda for the fiscal. year 1341-1842,
fL r the cuypose of invbstigating the transactions and ansiiting tile books and
accounts of all offices and officers of the City, in accordance with and as
more fullY etecified im Sections 3-7(c), 1294(b) and 12-4 (c) of the Charter
of the City of Alameda.
RESOLVED =TIER that the compensation of said Goodell, Dyers & Henry
for their services to be rendered to said City during the fiscal. year 1941-1942
in auditing the books and accounts of all the offices and officers of the City
as aforesaid be, and. the samb is hereby, fixed. at the total sun of S2,580.00,
to be allocated as follows: (a) For the services required in investigating
the trensactiond end. auditing (3" accounts of the Public Utilities Board of thb
Bity, S1,380.00; (C) F02 all other services required under the charter of the
City the sum of S1,200.00, Said sum shall be payable at the rate of S212.50
per month during said fiscal year.
In the event that the City shedld regudre special. audits, or services
in addition to thobe 11 00' in said charter and in the contract hereinafter
referrekto, said accountants shnll be compensated therefor at the per diem
rate of $25.00.
RIZOIWED FURTHER that the form of 3) 010, to de entered into by and
between said certified public accounting firm and thb City of Alameda, sub-
mitted to the Council and filed with the City Clerk of thb City of Alameda. this.

authorized. and directed to emboute, and the City. Clerk to attest, on. behalf
